Practical habits for safer messages, screenshots and account details.

Keep your streaming details private

Setup conversations often include screenshots and technical details. It is easy to share more than intended. Pause before sending and check whether the message exposes account secrets, payment information or details that support does not need.

Share a reference, not a secret

  • Use your request or order reference to identify a conversation.
  • Mask passwords and full playlist addresses in screenshots.
  • Never send a one-time bank or login verification code.
  • Confirm contact links from the official website.
  • Keep your own record of the agreed payment instructions.

Use a device you control

Avoid saving service credentials on a shared or public computer. Before selling or returning a device, sign out of apps and remove personal information according to the device maker’s instructions. A factory reset should not be assumed to cancel a subscription.

Ask when a request feels unusual

Stop and verify any unexpected request for extra payment, a remote-control session or an authentication code. Use a known contact route rather than replying to an unsolicited message. Clear support should explain what information is needed and why.
